This ABCnews article reports on Raja Petra Raja Kamaruddin, a well-known blogger in Malaysia, who police charged with sedition for implying that the Prime Minister was involved with killing Altantuya Shaariibuu, an interpreter.
Raja Petra Raja has pleaded not guilty, saying its his right to hold the government responsible for crimes. If found guilty, he could face up to three years in prison.
Many fellow bloggers and opposition leaders came to support Raja Petra Raja at court. Several of Malaysia's other notable blogs are also critical of the government.
